The Staff
Dr. Melissa Rose Dr. Melissa Rose
Dr. Rose graduated from the University of Missouri in 2001, magna cum laude. She joined the staff at PHAH in 2001 and became the practice owner in 2006. She is married and has a daughter and son. Her home also includes a few furry kids as well; three cats (Libby, Charlie, and PJ), and two dogs (Caesar and Oliver). She has a special interest in internal and preventative medicine. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and watching movies.
Dr. Dianne Barr Dr. Dianne Barr
Dr. Barr was born and raised in the Northland and is a graduate of Oak Park High School. She was a honors scholar at the Univeristy of Missouri earning a BS in Biochemistry in 1982 and a DVM in 1986. In 1993, she left pratice for 3 years for the University of Illinois where she was a resident in Veterinary Toxicology. In her sparetime, she is a wild life rehabilitator and an active volunteer at Lakeside Nature Center. She shares here home with dogs, cats and many rehabilitation patients, including raccoons, opossums, squirrels, ground-hogs, turtles, toads and other species.
Dr. Amber Kaiser Dr. Amber Kaiser
Amber grew up in Wichita, Kansas where she started pursuing her dream of becoming a veterinarian by working as a veterinary assistant. She attended Kansas State University and received her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science in 2011. Amber then attended Veterinary College at Kansas State University and graduated with her DVM in 2013. She went to practice in Katy, TX after vet school, at a busy emergency clinic to gain great work experience. She moved to Parkville Heights Animal Hospital in May 2014 to be closer to family and friends and to gain more great work experience.

In her spare time, Amber loves to spend time with her friends and family. She also loves to watch KSU sports and cheer on the Wildcats, watching movies, attending music theater productions, and shopping. She also has a 5 year old dog, Sophie (Sheltie Mix), that she loves dearly.

Professionally, she has a great interest in small animal internal medicine, preventative care, and diagnostic medicine. She is very excited to meet with you and your pets in the near future!

Beth Olson Beth Olson
Beth was born in Maryville, MO and moved to Liberty, MO in 1990

Beth returned to Parkville Heights in 2011 as a receptionist and became office manger in 2016. She married her husband David in September 2002. Together they have 3 boys, Ashton, Dalton and Keaton. They also have 2 dogs, Sky and Henry and 2 cats Meeka and Tango. Beth is a dedicated wife and mother and when she is not at work she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Beth enjoys interacting with our friendly clients and cannot wait to meet you and your pets.
