Dr. Melissa Rose

Dr. Rose graduated from the University of Missouri in 2001, magna cum laude. She joined the staff at PHAH in 2001 and became the practice owner in 2006. She is married and has a daughter and son. Her home also includes a few furry kids as well; three cats (Libby, Charlie, and Ren) and two dogs (Caesar and Oliver). She has a special interest in internal and preventative medicine. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, watching movies, and going to concerts.

Dr. Sarah Bonavia

Dr. Bonavia graduated from Kansas State University in 2023. She joined the staff after graduation and moved to the Kansas City area with her husband. They own one dog named Percy. She has a special interest in exotic and wildlife animals, as well as techniques to minimize fear for veterinary appointments. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing board games, and practicing dog sports with Percy.

McKenzie Clevenger

Hi, I’m Kenzie! I’ve been at PHAH for over 5 years now. On my free time I like to hang out with my four legged kids and travel, I also do pet sitting when I’m not at the clinic! I do a few roles at the clinic I enjoy bouncing around where I’m needed because I get to talk to our clients and assisting them with whatever they need, and getting to spend time in the back getting to interact with their pets.

You can find me up front checking you in or scheduling appointments or in the back taking care of grooming, helping the doctors and techs and taking care of the boarders.
